These articles were just published by Apple and originally reported by MacWorld UK. It might solve some people’s issues, although it does not seem to address mine.

  • iTunes 7 won’t play interactive booklets purchased from iTunes Store [link].

  • iTunes for Windows: Using Network Diagnostics [link].
  • iTunes: Album art does not download properly [link].
  • iTunes and QuickTime: Audio does not play or plays incorrectly [link].

    Whenever I play a song in itunes 7.0, and have another program running, aka surfing the internet or even scrolling in another window, the song playing in itunes skips like crazy. In fact, it skips worse than cds. At a certain point, it just goes haywire and skips uncontrollably. Please help, as this is REALLY annoying.
