Now-a-days, everything is “social” this and “social” that. A lot of these “web 2.0″ websites will no doubt end up in the trash bin, just like many dot-com businesses in the early two-thousands. Nevertheless, there are some social sites that are pretty darn cool and good. thesixtyone is one of those. It is a “social music site” that works much like Digg or Reddit: Musicians submit their songs and users vote for their favorites. It’s a great way to check out new bands risk free, as you can stream songs and pick and choose from a huge variety of artists and genres.
